Vathorst is a neighbourhood in which different worlds are hidden. A quick glance at the map of Vathorst makes this clear: many newly built houses, a ring road, and in the middle a still virgin territory: De Bron.
This is ‘Terra Incognita’ to the residents. The work ‘U bent hier’ [You are here] balances on the intersection of Vathorst’s past, present and future. The announcement ‘You are here’ sounds like an extended hand to residents/visitors trying to find their way, but proves to be deceptively enigmatic.
