An homage to Spakenburg's last fisherman. On the front of the poster the eight brooches by jewellery designer Willemijn de Greef are floating. They are print blocks, cut in flower motifs occurring on the shoulder coverings of the traditional dresses of the region. Together with spirograph objects, the brooches form heavenly bodies in the Spakenburg constellation. On the back side the 'Board game of the last fisherman' has a more dramatic overtone due to the disappearance of the profession of fisherman in Spakenburg and the fading away of expressions connected to fishing. Who will know in the future that 'vârrekesblâkte' is a period of lull in the fall? Most words in the game relate to the weather: an important 'tool' for fishermen and in the street, a safe way to make contact with each other.
